It was performed a descriptive retrospective study on patients diagnosed with malignant cutaneous melanoma at the hospital Celia Sanchez Manduley within the period from January 2011 to December 2012 with the objective of describing relevant clinical and epidemiological aspects of the disease. The population studied was composed of 9 patients with histological diagnosis of melanoma. Information was obtained from the clinical histories of each patient studying the variables age, sex, race, clinical forms, topography, extension, and tumor profundity.
